Job summary

JLM STRATEGIC TALENT PARTNERS currently seeks a project safety professional to administer the site safety program and lead accident prevention efforts across field operations. You will conduct daily inspections, enforce the project safety plan, monitor subcontractor safety performance, and document findings with corrective actions.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to stop work when safety is at risk, while coordinating with the Project Safety Manager and site

Qualifications

• Administer compliance with the safety program and lead accident prevention efforts.
• Conduct and document daily site inspections and enforce safety plans.
• Identify training needs and provide safety training as needed.
• Monitor PPE, equipment and signage on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety program compliance and accident prevention to meet goals.
• Perform daily site inspections and enforce plan requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance and follow up on actions.
• Prepare written safety reports and assign corrective actions.
• Have authority to STOP work to fix serious safety issues.
• Report incidents and unsafe conditions to the team.
