Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental seeks a Site Safety Officer to support onsite bulk tanker operations in the Greater Austin Area, TX. This role ensures safe, compliant hazardous and non-hazardous bulk waste transfer and transportation activities.

You will lead field inspections, training, incident investigations, and CAPA tracking, partnering with operations to drive continuous safety improvements and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS or 5–7 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, RCRA, DOT, FMCSA, and related environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS and transportation compliance oversight for bulk tanker loading and offloading.
• Conduct routine field inspections, safety observations, and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Ensure client EH&S requirements including drug testing and incident reporting.
• Verify tanker, chemical, hose, and transfer equipment compatibility prior to loading.
• Coordinate training on RCRA, DOT, OSHA, HAZWOPER and site requirements.
• Lead incident investigations and CAPA tracking.
• Maintain safety records and support audits.
