Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Hazardous Waste Operations Supervisor for our Greater Austin/Taylor, TX area client site. Lead field crews, ensure safe tanker loading, and maintain regulatory compliance with RCRA/DOT requirements.

The successful candidate will manage scheduling, documentation, and safety on a fast-paced site while coordinating with local office staff and customers. OSHA 40-hour and HAZWOPER are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in bulk or hazardous waste transfer and tanker operations.
• Experience supervising technicians and coordinating schedules.
• Knowledge of RCRA, DOT and related hazardous waste regulations.
• Hazardous materials handling including manifests and shipping docs.
• Experience with tankers, pumps, hoses, and vacuum trucks.
• OSHA 40-hour training.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must lift 60 pounds.
• Willing to pass background checks and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsabilités

• Comply with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Wear respirator/SCBA as needed.
• Schedule and coordinate bulk tanker shipments and loading windows.
• Directly supervise field technicians performing tanker loading operations.
• Ensure safe and efficient loading per SOPs, compatibility, and DOT/RCRA rules.
• Verify tanker, hose, gasket compatibility and washout requirements.
• Create and review accurate waste shipment manifests.
• Perform air monitoring and use gas meters.
• Communicate shipment status and changes to office and customers.
• Oversee site safety, PPE compliance, and spill-response readiness.
• Manage profitability and efficiency of loading assignments.
• Monitor transfers and halt work if unsafe conditions arise.
