Job summary

Milestone Industrial LLC is seeking a Site Safety Lead to join our team. The role requires 10+ years of safety supervision and training experience; travel to client facilities is required, with on-site assignments.

Responsibilities include managing safety professionals, developing site safety plans and ERP/rescue plans, reviewing project plans and training needs, and ensuring regulatory compliance with OSHA and MSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of safety supervision and training experience.
• Ability to travel to client sites as required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety professionals and maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide reasonable suspicion training for drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
• Develop site-specific safety plans, ERP, and rescue plans.
• Review project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and training needs.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining a safety program at sites.
• Establish incident management protocols prior to mobilization.
• Maintain weekly client communication to foster relationships.
• Support regulatory visits from OSHA or MSHA and incident response.

Travel Requirements: On-Site @ client facility

Essential Functions:

• Manage safety professionals and maintain a positive working environment.
• Reasonable suspicion trainer for drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
• Assist or prepare site-specific safety plans, ERP, and rescue plans for sites.
• Review project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and site training needs.
• Assist site safety professionals and project management in establishing a safety program.
• Establish all incident management protocols before mobilization to the site location.
• Maintain weekly client communication to establish positive working relationships.
• Assist site team with regulatory compliance visits from OSHA or MSHA.
• Assist in the management of emergency response incidents for sites.

Requirements:

• 10+ years safety supervision and training experience
• Ability to travel when required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate.
