Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Site Safety Manager to lead HSE programs across Sparks, NV sites, reporting to the Safety Director. You will develop, implement, and audit safety policies, and guide field teams while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include onsite walks, hazard prevention, incident investigations, and maintaining safety records. Strong OSHA/NFPA knowledge and proficiency with MS Office and safety software are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of site safety management experience in a commercial construction setting.
• OSHA 510 certification is required, OSHA 500 preferred.
• NFPA 70E familiarity and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) competency.
• Strong technical knowledge and executive-level administrative skills.
• Experience preparing and managing incident reports.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, PDF editors, Safety Culture Auditor, Box and Smartsheet.

• Switch Data Center (GC: Gray & Martin Harris | 1 Super loop Circle, Sparks, NV 89437)
• Edgecore Data Center (GC: Holder | 2300 Peru Drive, Sparks, NV 89437)
• Google Data Center (GC: Fortis | 7600 USA Parkway, Sparks, NV 89434)
• Micron Chip Manufacturing (GC: Hoffman | 3845 Memory Rd, Boise, ID 83716)

Duration: 12-24 Month Contract

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend work (Saturday/Sunday as needed)
• Shift start: 4:30–5:00 AM
• Shift end: typically 2:30–6:00 PM (varies by workload)

Overtime:

• Expect 50–60+ hours/week at peak times, depending on project demand

Pay Rate:

$195K - 236K (OT included in rate)*

*No per diem is offered for this role; however, overtime ramps up during busy project phases. During peak seasons, team members typically work ~50–60 hours/week, creating strong earning potential through paid overtime.

Job Description:

The Site Safety Manager ensures that the Company complies with all applicable federal, state, and local Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations. Under the direction of the Safety Director, this position is responsible for assisting with the development, implementation and auditing of safety policies across a wide spectrum of levels. This individual will directly interact with field employees, Company Management and customers. The Safety Manager will provide oversight management of all service HSE activities in their area, provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to all Site Safety personnel, provide all levels of the area management team with the services and technical advice needed for the proper administration of the Company’s HSE and Injury/Illness Prevention Programs. This includes supporting the company’s established network for the communication of HSE matters, managing HSE programs at jobsites, supporting other Site Safety Managers and developing and maintaining a strong HSE culture within the area

Must Have:

• 5+ years of site safety management experience in a commercial construction setting
• Pharma, commercial, schools, data center, oil and gas, warehouse is a plus!
• Minimum OSHA 510, ( an additional Osha 500 is strongly preferred)
• Competency in NFPA 70E and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Strong technical knowledge and executive-level administrative skills
• Experienced in preparing and managing incident reports
• Proficient with platforms like Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, PDF editing tools, Safety Culture Auditor, Box, and Smartsheet

Plus:

• Strongly Preferred BCSP – CHST Certification (certified health and safety technician) or SMP Certification (safety management professional) or CSP (certified Safety Professional) or SMS (Safety Management Specialist) or STSC (safety trained supervisor construction
• Mechanical contractor experience- HVAC even better
• Refinery work

Day to Day:

• Onsite 5 days a week at job site
• Doing site walks, hazard prevention
• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for employees, customers and the public.
• Act as the technical safety advisor to Company management and supervision and ensure that all personnel comply with all relevant current labor laws and regulations as well as with new regulations affecting the industry and/or operations.
• Perform frequent safety inspections and audits at the job site.
• Perform frequent job walks and job/ site hazard analysis with supervision and sales staff as necessary for pro-active safety planning and decision-making purposes.
• Perform incident investigations, reports, and help to develop corrective actions as necessary. Identifies key injury and/or safety trends and communicates such to management.
• Ensure that the appropriate safety records are maintained.
• Facilitate cultural change to drive Company safety performance
• Mentor and coach management towards achieving a positive and pro-active culture.
• schedule, facilitate, and track safety training to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• May act as company representative on issues relating to environmental protection concerns and interfaces as necessary with environmental regulatory agencies and audits project site compliance with environmental protection requirements.
• Participate in educational opportunities, reads professional and technical publications, maintain personal networks, and participates in professional organizations to maintain technical knowledge.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as directed by company executives.
• Safety Manager is responsible for overall subcontractor safety program execution, management of subcontractor safety coordinators, sub-tier management, case & Care management, OCIP/CCIP claims, craft training, safety administration, work coordination, High risk activity planning and development, etc.
