Job summary

Wright Construction Group, LLC is looking for a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) to oversee safety protocols on Corps of Engineer construction sites. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and promotes a proactive safety culture throughout the construction process.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of construction safety experience, possess an OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification, and demonstrate strong knowledge of safety regulations. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, leading training sessions, and managing safety documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety, preferably on federal or large-scale commercial projects.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required; OSHA 500 or 510 preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor site-specific safety plans (SSSPs).
