Alutiiq Logistics & Maintenance Services, LLC is seeking a Site Safety and Health Officer in Ridgecrest, CA. You will oversee the Safety and Environmental program for the Base Operations Maintenance contract and guide supervisors in safety protocols and contract requirements.

You will conduct training on airfield driving safety, PPE, HAZCOM, and 10-hr/OSHA-30 courses, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and applicable regulations.

Formación

• Associates Degree in Safety or 5+ years as a safety professional.
• Current state driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in safety management.
• OSHA 3115 Fall Protection certification.
• OSHA 2225 Respiratory Protection certification.
• Experience with government contracting terminology and requirements.
• Experience with safety/environmental/ energy regulations for contract obligations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage the Safety/Environmental/Energy Program.
• Coordinate safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Provide safety training and ensure PPE availability for field technicians.
• Develop and implement safety plans, SOPs, and policies; keep Safety Manual updated.
• Maintain OSHA record-keeping and prepare required reports.
• Interface with government safety offices to ensure OSHA and military compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
