Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Site Safety Engineer to join their Field Operations Team. This field/project based role focuses on enforcing safety on site and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards.

You will conduct daily safety meetings, orient new hires, maintain records, and lead safety training while traveling to project sites across the United States per policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5+ years of related experience.
• OSHA 30 Hour card.
• Experience in an industrial construction environment is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite programs.
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• Energetic, self-motivated with a passion for collaboration and professional development.

• Responsible for conducting orientation and jobsite specific training.
• Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Gray’s safety program on site.
• Other duties may be assigned.

This position requires travel as our projects are scattered throughout the United States and, in some cases outside of the U.S.. The selected candidate can live anywhere in the USA, but would be required to travel to the project site per Gray’s travel policy.
