Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Site Safety Coordinator in Lubbock, TX. The role focuses on implementing safety activities, conducting site inspections, and coordinating safety plans with foremen to ensure safe completion of electrical projects.

This position requires OSHA certifications, first aid/CPR training, and the ability to work on-site, with travel as needed. No visa sponsorship is offered for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year commercial electrical experience in a related position.
• HS Diploma/GED is required.
• OSHA-30 Certification required.
• OSHA 510 or CHST certification preferred.
• First Aid/CPR/AED/Blood Bourne Pathogens Certifications required.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check.

Responsibilities

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Job Summary

• Ensures implementation of all IES and Client safety activities
• Conducts frequent jobsite inspections, ensures corrective action taken to correct deficiencies
• Works with foreman in planning how to perform non-routine job tasks safely
• Participates in jobsite safety meetings and periodic attendance at foreman toolbox safety meetings
• Conducts jobsite safety orientations
• Assists in safety training as necessary
• Conducts field training on all equipment for all employees
• Assists in Hazards Recognition and corrections
• Provides on-site first aid and CPR capabilities
• Complies with all company and client safety policies and procedures
• Travel may be required.

Specific Qualifications
