Qualifications

• At least 1 year of commercial electrical experience in a related position.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• OSHA-30 Certification and First Aid/CPR/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens certifications.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background and MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of IES and Client safety activities.
• Conduct frequent jobsite inspections and ensure corrective action.
• Collaborate with foreman to plan safe execution of non-routine tasks.
• Participate in jobsite safety meetings and foreman toolbox meetings.
• Conduct jobsite safety orientations and assist in safety training.
• Provide on-site first aid and CPR capabilities.
• Perform field training on equipment for employees.
• Assist in hazard recognition and corrections.
• Comply with company and client safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, seeking full-time construction Safety Coordinator in Lubbock, Texas.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Job Summary

• Ensures implementation of all IES and Client safety activities
• Conducts frequent jobsite inspections, ensures corrective action taken to correct deficiencies
• Works with foreman in planning how to perform non-routine job tasks safely
• Participates in jobsite safety meetings and periodic attendance at foreman toolbox safety meetings
• Conducts jobsite safety orientations
• Assists in safety training as necessary
• Conducts field training on all equipment for all employees
• Assists in Hazards Recognition and corrections
• Provides on-site first aid and CPR capabilities
• Complies with all company and client safety policies and procedures
• Travel may be required.

Specific Qualifications
