Job summary

ICEYE US is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability, scalability, and performance of production systems. You will collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams to drive end-to-end reliability improvements and mentor others.

The role requires 4+ years in production on AWS with Kubernetes, and strong observability skills (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana). ICEYE US offers a mission-driven environment and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years operating production systems on AWS or similar clouds.
• Hands-on with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Mimir for observability.
• Strong networking, distributed systems, and microservices knowledge.
• Scripting/automation experience using Python or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reliability, scalability, and performance improvements.
• Own observability stack and monitoring to proactively identify issues.
• Define SLI/SLOs and error budgets; drive post-incident reviews.
• Lead on-call processes and incident response with a blameless approach.
• Mentor engineers on SRE principles and embed reliability in software lifecycle.
