Job summary

MaintainX is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to advance reliability, observability, and developer autonomy as we scale. You will partner with product and platform teams to improve stability, resilience, and operational readiness of our services.

You’ll design for reliability from the start, establish ownership and standards, and build tooling enabling teams to operate confidently. Collaboration across disciplines is essential to success.

Qualifications

Deep understanding of observability in distributed systems.
Experience with SLOs, error budgets, incident management.
3-5+ years in software development, SRE, DevOps, or production roles.
Proficient with cloud-native platforms and IaC concepts.
Working knowledge of at least one language (TypeScript/Node.js is a plus).
Excellent cross-team communication.
Ability to translate reliability concepts into actionable guidance.
Enjoy enabling teams to succeed independently.

Responsibilities

Assess service maturity and provide insights to development teams
Partner with development teams to implement observability best practices
Enable development teams to deploy, support, and manage infrastructure
Mentor developers on reliability practices
Bridge Platform Division to drive tooling adoption
