Position: Site Reliability Engineer (MSO)

Description

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you are ready to tackle complex problems, thrive in an agile and dynamic multi-functional team, love working with data, and aim to make a significant impact in health. Key characteristics include:

• Experience building highly available and fault-tolerant systems
• Enjoys improving and simplifying CI/CD processes
• Proficient with Container Services (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
• Experience automating cloud resource management (e.g., Terraform)
• Knowledge of Cloud Security models (e.g., IAM)
• Experience with performance, application, and security log management

This is a site-based role.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of experience in building highly available and fault-tolerant systems
• Experience with Helm and its usage
• Strong coding skills and ability to learn new programming languages quickly
• Strong analytical skills to solve challenging problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science or relevant experience
• Experience with Temporal
• Ability to work well within and across teams
• Self-directed and proactive work style
• Comfortable with weekly on-call rotations
• Reliable and responsive to team needs
• Experience with Pen Testing and Secure Application management (nice to have)

At Apple, base pay is part of a comprehensive compensation package, determined within a specified range based on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base pay range for this role is $175,800 to $264,200.
