Job summary

Skydio, a leading US drone company, seeks a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer to build, operate, and scale the cloud infrastructure powering our autonomous flight products.

You will own production infrastructure including Kubernetes, AWS, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, networking, and reliability. You should have strong Kubernetes and cloud fundamentals with meaningful depth in at least one domain.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Production Engineer, SRE, DevOps or equivalent infrastructure role.
• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production clusters, not just deploys.
• Experience with Kubernetes/EKS upgrades and production clusters.
• Strong AWS fundamentals including VPCs, subnets, IAM, and databases; IaC tooling experience.
• Experience owning or maintaining CI/CD and deployment systems (Argo CD, Spinnaker, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
• Ability to diagnose production infrastructure and networking issues and solve scaling or reliability challenges.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and scale the cloud infrastructure powering our products.
• Own production infrastructure including Kubernetes, AWS, IaC, CI/CD, observability, networking, and reliability.
• Diagnose production issues and drive improvements to reliability and performance.
• Lead upgrades and maintenance of production clusters and ensure high availability.
