Job summary

Etsy, Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to help build and support reliable large-scale infrastructure. The role focuses on maintaining uptime, efficiency, and scalability for etsy.com and mobile apps, with in-office attendance once or twice weekly for those near our Brooklyn hub.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of software engineering experience focusing on systems/infrastructure, network engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
• Hands-on Linux server administration in production environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and IaC tooling like Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, maintainable infrastructure and services.
• Support uptime of Etsy.com and its mobile apps.
• Automate upgrades and deployment processes for core systems.
• Lead and participate in a blameless incident resolution process.
• Collaborate with developers and other SREs to improve reliability.
