Job summary
Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) seeks a Site Reliability Engineer II to join our 24x7 production environment.
You will bring 3+ years in SRE/production operations to improve availability, automate workflows, and mentor junior engineers as part of a high-autonomy team. You will design monitoring using CloudWatch, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry, lead small projects, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy reliable releases with strong observability and incident response
Qualifications
- 3+ years in site reliability or production operations.
- Strong teamwork and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to operate with minimal guidance.
- Familiarity with ICE Core Competencies.
Responsibilities
- Improve availability, performance, and security of services through troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Plan and deploy product releases with operational rigor and quality gates.
- Design and implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and automation.
- Lead projects and mentor SRE I engineers.
- Build AI-assisted diagnostic jobs to reduce MTTR in incidents.
- Develop and tune CloudWatch metrics and dashboards; ensure observability across platforms.
