Job summary

NCR Atleos in Mexico City seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team focused on production operations and AppOps. You will help maintain availability, performance, and security of production services while collaborating with development, infra, and security teams.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in software or DevOps, is bilingual in English and Spanish, and familiar with cloud platforms, Linux, containers, IaC, and observability tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related engineering field.
• 1+ year of experience in software engineering or DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Support production systems and cloud platforms to achieve reliability, performance, and availability objectives.
• Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, service restoration, and root cause analysis activities.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts, operational tools, and self-service capabilities to reduce manual effort.
• Assist with CI/CD pipeline maintenance and deployment automation initiatives.
• Build and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, runbooks, and operational documentation.
• Contribute to observability initiatives through metrics, logs, tracing, and service health monitoring.
• Support implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management practices.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to identify opportunities for improvements and reliability enhancements.
• Participate in on-call support and operational readiness activities.
• Explore and contribute to AIOps, predictive monitoring, intelligent alert management, automated remediation, and agentic workflows.
