Job summary

NCR Atleos Corporation, headquartered in Atlanta, seeks an IT Solutions Engineer to translate customer IT needs into robust solutions and deployment plans. You will design and drive projects, applying DevOps practices and automation to deliver reliable, secure systems across client environments.

Required are strong Windows Server admin skills, PowerShell automation, and familiarity with Trellix security products, plus collaborative, Agile-oriented work—travel to client sites and varied projects

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

• Translate customer IT services requirements into customer solutions/contracts that secure customer loyalty, drive acceptable profit margins and are delivered with fidelity.
• Create solution designs that deliver customer requirements and are used by development resources to build and deploy.
• Exposure to DevOps process.
• Automate processes.
• Continuously deliver high-quality systems.
• React quickly to feedback to continuously improve processes.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies.
• Manage technical resources to build and deploy customer financial industry solutions.
• Qualify and develop a solution that is mutually acceptable to the client and NCR.
• Assist sales with growing the revenue within existing and new accounts and ensuring the integrity of the WCS operation is not compromised.
• Provide thought leadership around market-based pricing strategies and fully accountable for the operational and legal terms agreed to in the services agreement and SOW.
• Engage subject matter experts (SMEs) as required and manage SME resource team to assist with solution costing/development.
• Ensure the appropriate due diligence is carried out both with the client and within the proposed NCR delivery organization.
• Provide sales team with technical and service presales support; Prepare and deliver services presentations to current and prospective customers.
• Act as the technical lead in client deployment engagements.
• Ensure the program meets established time, cost, technical and customer objectives.
• Ensure the program’s change control procedures are developed and managed.

Basic Qualifications

• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 installation and administration
• Windows services, event logs, and troubleshooting
• IIS and application server troubleshooting
• PowerShell scripting and automation
• Security: Installation and configuration of Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator, Trellix Application Control (Solidcore), Trellix Drive Encryption/HDE Endpoint Security (ENS)

Preferred

• SQL authentication and database connectivity troubleshooting
• SSL certificate management
• Microsoft SQL Server installation and administration
• Network troubleshooting (DNS, TCP/IP, Firewall)
