Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to help improve the Lark system. The role focuses on reliability, incident response, capacity planning, and building observability for a globally distributed infrastructure.

The position emphasizes on-site work with the USDS team, competitive base compensation, and potential discretionary bonuses. Strong collaboration and problem-solving are key to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of SRE/DevOps experience in large-scale online services.
• Programming experience in C, C++, Java, Python, C# or Go.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall reliability of Lark product.
• Lifecycle management of production systems including change management, deployment, operations and incident response.
• Monitor the system and respond to incidents to maintain SLA and review production incidents.
• Perform capacity management of compute, storage and network to ensure stability and optimize costs.
• Provide strong support during big events to handle high traffic.
• Build tools, automations, visualizations and monitors for global infrastructure.
