Job summary

Avalore is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the WDP System. You will define KPIs and SLOs, identify bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis on incidents to implement preventative measures.

You will design and implement monitoring and alerting, develop runbooks, automate routine tasks, conduct capacity planning, run load tests, establish disaster recovery procedures, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• KPIs/SLOs and incident RCA experience.
• Strong communication skills and English proficiency.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of the WDP System.
• Define and track KPIs and SLOs; identify bottlenecks and resolve performance issues.
• Design and implement monitoring and alerting systems.
• Develop and maintain runbooks and playbooks for operational procedures.
• Automate routine operational tasks to reduce human error.
• Conduct capacity planning and load testing; establish disaster recovery procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and collaborate with development teams to improve reliability; apply chaos engineering practices.
