Job summary

Avalore, LLC is seeking a Platform Engineer to develop and maintain the WDP System's data management and analytics platform. You will build core services used by developers and data scientists, focusing on containerization, orchestration, and service meshes to ensure a robust environment for mission-critical tasks.

You will implement security controls, optimize performance, automate operations via CI/CD, and create self-service tools and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; multiple levels (Junior/Journeyman/Senior) based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain platform tools and services for data management and analytics.
• Design and implement platform capabilities such as containerization, orchestration, and service meshes.
• Create self-service tools for developers to increase productivity and establish monitoring/observability solutions.
• Implement security controls, optimize performance, and automate platform operations through CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate new technologies, develop platform documentation and training materials, and collaborate with infra and application teams.
