Zensar is looking for a remote Site Reliability Engineer

JD:

The Site Reliability Engineer supports the daily operational workload required to prepare, execute, and validate migrations within the Connex environment on the HP NonStop platform. This role provides hands‑on technical ownership of database automation, batch and balance processing, data loads, and operational validation to support accurate settlement processing, stable batch execution, and reliable downstream data availability.

The position requires detailed platform knowledge, the ability to learn quickly, and consistent attention to execution accuracy as migration volume and frequency increase. The engineer maintains repeatable daily operational controls rather than performing only one‑time migration activities, helping reduce risk, prevent delays, and ensure each migration is ready for settlement and production processing.

Required Skills
  • Working knowledge of the Connex environment and its operational requirements for migration readiness, settlement processing, batch execution, and downstream data availability.
  • Proficiency with HP NonStop system commands and the platform knowledge needed to execute and validate daily operational activities.
  • Ability to maintain database (DB) automation scripts that support repeatable migration and production-processing tasks.
  • Ability to set up batch and balance TACLs and understand their role in reliable processing.
  • Ability to build obey files for APPRINTs, ELASTIC, and Falcon loads.
  • Ability to run initial balance files and validate processing results for settlement readiness.
  • Ability to manage cardholder data loads and validate their completion.
  • Ability to monitor PI link queue files in support of processing readiness and downstream data availability.
  • Strong attention to detail and disciplined execution of recurring operational controls to reduce errors, risks, and delays.
  • Ability to learn platform‑specific tools and procedures quickly and manage an increasing volume and frequency of migration‑related work.
  • Hands‑on technical ownership and the ability to perform consistent validation throughout migration preparation, execution, and production readiness.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare, execute, and validate the daily operational activities required to support migrations in the Connex environment on HP NonStop.
  • Maintain DB automation scripts to support accurate, consistent, and repeatable operational execution.
  • Set up batch and balance TACLs required for migration‑related processing and validate their readiness for execution.
  • Build obey files for APPRINTs, ELASTIC, and Falcon loads to support the required processing activities.
  • Run initial balance files and validate results to support accurate settlement processing and migration readiness.
  • Manage cardholder data loads and validate completion to support production processing and downstream data availability.
  • Monitor PI link queue files to support reliable processing and identify conditions that could affect readiness or cause delays.
  • Perform consistent validation of batch execution, data loads, and related operational tasks to support stable processing.
  • Execute recurring daily operational controls accurately, recognizing that these activities extend beyond one‑time migration events.
  • Provide hands‑on technical ownership of assigned migration‑processing activities as workload volume and frequency increase.
  • Validate that required operational activities are complete and each migration is ready for settlement and production processing, helping reduce risk and prevent delays.
