Job summary

OLX is hiring a Junior Site Reliability Engineer to help maintain scalable cloud systems and reliable services across our international platforms. You will work with experienced engineers to learn about observability, automation, and incident response while contributing to incremental improvements.

• Support foundational tasks that ensure scalability, availability, and efficiency of our cloud and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with Senior SREs in diagnosing, resolving, and proactively preventing production incidents.
• Automate simple operational tasks and manage configurations using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining service health by working with observability platforms and dashboards.
• Participate in incremental delivery of tasks, including estimating complexity, managing dependencies, and handling ambiguous requirements with guidance.
• Take part in an on-call rotation to develop incident management skills, focusing on learning and contributing to blameless postmortems.
• Engage in continuous learning, building a growth mindset, and progressively taking more ownership of your tasks and impact.

• An individual enthusiastic about reliability engineering principles, including incident management, monitoring, and service level management.
