Job summary

Wordbricks is seeking an experienced SRE in the San Francisco Bay Area or fully remote. You will own the reliability, performance, and cost of our production systems while building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, observability, and alerting.

You’ll manage cloud infrastructure across Cloudflare, AWS, and Vercel, lead incident response, and drive blameless postmortems to keep our services fast and dependable. We value calm, methodical approaches to incidents and strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SRE, infra, or backend ops.
• Strong cloud and IaC experience.
• Solid networking, DB, and distributed systems knowledge.
• Calm and methodical when things are on fire.

What we're looking for

As an SRE at Wordbricks, you will keep our systems fast, reliable, and boring. You'll own the infrastructure and operations behind our products so the rest of the team can ship without worrying about production.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability, performance, and cost of our production systems
• Build and maintain CI/CD, observability, and alerting
• Manage cloud infrastructure across Cloudflare, AWS, and Vercel
• Lead incident response and blameless postmortems

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, infrastructure, or backend operations
• Strong experience with cloud providers and infrastructure as code
• Solid understanding of networking, databases, and distributed systems
• Calm and methodical when things are on fire

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cloudflare Workers and edge architectures
• Background in database operations (PostgreSQL)
• Experience building on-call culture at an early-stage startup
