Job summary

Addison Group seeks a Site Reliability Engineer in Austin, Texas. The role focuses on maintaining robust Windows and Linux servers, hybrid AD/Entra ID, and enterprise-scale infrastructure. This is a hybrid position with 2 days in the office and a competitive hourly rate.

You will administer Microsoft 365, create PowerShell automations, manage security configurations, perform server patching, and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Microsoft 365 Administration including Exchange, Purview, Entra ID, and hybrid Active Directory (AD).
• PowerShell automation to support: security group and role assignments, user management, environment creation and deletion, DLP configuration.
• Server infrastructure support for Windows and Linux servers; general server administration responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a complex enterprise-scale application and infrastructure environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and agency staff to ensure scalable, reliable, and high-performing systems; ensure infrastructure security.
• Provide server patching and maintenance; handle server and application support.

Job description

Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Hybrid Policy: 2 days in office.

Location (city/state): Austin, Texas

Compensation: $55 / HR

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Required Experience:

1) Microsoft 365 Administration: Experience administering M365 environments, including Exchange, Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, and hybrid Active Directory (AD).

2) PowerShell Automation - Experience developing PowerShell-based automations to support:

• Security group and role assignments
• User management
• Environment creation and deletion
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP) configuration
• 3)Server Infrastructure Support

3) Experience performing Systems Administrator-level responsibilities, including:

• Server and application support
• Server patching and maintenance
• General server infrastructure administration

Duties will include managing a complex enterprise scale application and infrastructure environment, which includes robust Windows and Linux Servers, Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID and other cloud-based infrastructure. Collaborates closely with cross-functional IT teams and agency staff to establish and sustain scalable, reliable, and high-performing systems, ensure infrastructure security, and consult with teams to identify necessary tasks for supporting project initiatives.
