RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote Site Reliability Engineer to join their team.

Summary:

These applications are built with Java 11/14+, springboot, microservices, React on the UI, Cassandra, Kafka and Google Cloud Platform. They also use a mixture of Golang, node, Kubernetes, and SQL. The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for assisting with the infrastructure, monitoring and cloud. This person needs to have an expertise within Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, terraform, and python along with experience in CI/CD as well as Prometheus, Grafana, and a variety of other tools. They will also be assisting with the migration from PCF to Google Cloud Platform. Lastly, the Site Reliability Engineer will be building out automation within the infrastructure and will ensure high availability and resiliency.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Terraform experience (ability to build modules from scratch)
• Ansible experience (or other configuration management)
• Kubernetes experience
• Python experience (most important)
• Experience with any application/Performance Management (APM) tools such as Dynatrace/data dog, new relic
• PrometheGrafana experience or other monitoring tools
• Google Cloud Platform experience (GKE, pub sub, bigquery, etc.)
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
