Job summary

Pall Corporation in Florida seeks a Site Quality Manager to lead Quality at the site and ensure target achievement across ISO 9001 compliant processes. You will drive QMS implementation, APQP, FMEA, and cross-functional quality improvements, reporting to the Global Quality Director.

Ideal candidates hold a engineering/manufacturing degree with 7+ years in aerospace QA and 3+ years in leadership, plus Six Sigma/Lean experience and data analysis proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/manufacturing required.
• 7+ years of progressive quality assurance experience within a manufacturing and aerospace environment.
• Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience, including experience managing people leaders.
• Strong in problem-solving, team building, planning, and decision making.
• Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Experience dealing with customers and suppliers.
• Proficient in Microsoft / Minitab and able to analyze and interpret data.

• Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports including ensuring KPIs are met by working to the plan, including management of, and reporting.

The Site Quality Manager is responsible for providing clear leadership for the development of an environment focused on Quality in the site to achieve quality targets for customers and meet our business goals, developing quality-process links with customers in line with the Quality Management system including ISO 90001, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Controls Plans, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) processes, and oversee continued compliance and embedding across the business.

This position reports to the Global Quality Director and is part of the quality team located in New Port Richey, FL.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance. Process Control through Procedures, Work Instructions, & Specifications.
• Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/manufacturing
• Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive quality assurance experience within a manufacturing and aerospace environment
• Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience, including experience managing people leaders, with demonstrated excellence in leadership, team management, and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Strong in problem-solving, team building, planning, and decision making
• Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing experience
• Experience dealing with customers and suppliers
• Proficient in Microsoft / Minitab and able to analyze and interpret data.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• ERP knowledge with SAP preferred
• Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and Safety Management Systems for Aerospace
• ASME or Machining background (CNC)
• Working with the FAA, CAA, or other Aerospace regulatory body
• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus
