Job summary

Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Quality Director – Aerospace to lead quality strategy across sites in the assigned region, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement. You will mentor site leaders, oversee audits, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs to elevate quality excellence.

This on-site role is based in New Port Richey, FL.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in regulated Aerospace and Military industries and in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute aerospace quality strategies and governance across multiple sites.
• Lead and mentor site quality leaders; analyze metrics and drive improvement.
• Ensure compliance with AS, ISO, FAA, EASA, Part 145, FAR, NADCAP, DFAR requirements.
• Oversee internal and external audits including regulatory inspections and customer audits.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Develop regional quality resource and capacity planning.
• Promote a culture of quality and operational excellence; apply Six Sigma and Lean tools.

The Quality Director – Aerospace is responsible for leading and overseeing the quality strategy, systems, and operations across multiple sites within the assigned region. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and fosters a culture of quality excellence. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with deep expertise in quality systems, regulatory compliance, manufacturing, and cross-functional collaboration.

This position reports to the VP, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs and is part of the Quality Team located in New Port Richey, Fl and will be an on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Develop and implement Aerospace business quality strategies aligned with corporate objectives while serving as the Aerospace business point of contact for quality-related escalations and problem solving.
• Lead and mentor site quality leaders to ensure consistent execution of quality systems and standards; Analyze quality metrics and trends to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., AS, ISO, FAA, EASA, Part 145, FAR, NADCAP, and DFAR requirements etc.).
• Oversee internal and external audits, including regulatory inspections and customer audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Develop and manage the regional quality resource and capacity planning.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and operational excellence; Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing Management); Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in a regulated Aerospace and Military industries and in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Willingness to travel as required (up to 30% and noting that the primarily Aerospace site apart from NPR, FL is located in Redruth, UK)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in

• Certification in quality (e.g., ASQ CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt)
