Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated (NYSE: RBC) seeks a Quality Manager (site level) to lead quality operations, ensuring compliance with aerospace, defense, and government contracts. You will drive performance, risk management, and continuous improvement across the site.

You will align site quality objectives with corporate strategy, manage MRB, audits, and supplier performance, and champion a zero-defect culture through disciplined problem solving and metrics-driven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in quality management in regulated aerospace/defense/marine environments.
• Experience with AS9100/ISO 9001 and APQP/PPAP.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead site quality assurance and control to ensure compliance, operational effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive zero-defect culture through structured problem solving, risk management, and process discipline.
• Recruit, train, and develop quality personnel and foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee MRB process and disposition of nonconforming material in a timely, compliant manner.
• Ensure compliance with export controls, government contracts, and customer requirements.
• Lead customer audits, regulatory inspections, and management reviews; report quality metrics to leadership.
