Job summary

OP Mobility in Elkhart, IN is seeking a Site Quality Professional to apply quality engineering principles to improve product quality, process capability, supplier performance, and customer satisfaction at the Elkhart site. You will ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and internal quality systems while supporting manufacturing operations.

The role requires strong root cause analysis, corrective actions, and the ability to stop production when quality or safety issues arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of quality engineering or related experience required.
• Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred; battery/electronic assembly is a plus.
• Lean, Six Sigma, APQP/PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor internal, customer, and supplier quality performance and identify trends.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions with root cause analysis and containment.
• Support customer portals, quality objectives, scorecards and documentation.
• Verify effectiveness of actions and close out nonconformities.
• Assist with supplier quality monitoring, audits, and MRB processes.
• Support incoming inspection and calibration activities.
