SSI SCHAEFER, a leading global intralogistics provider, is seeking a Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to customer and contract requirements.

You will plan, coordinate, and oversee all project activities, monitor progress and budgets, and serve as a key liaison between customers and internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in the material handling or warehouse automation industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field and PM certification or equivalent.

  • Monitor project progress, timelines, budget, and overall performance.
  • Serve as a key liaison between customers and internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve project issues in partnership with the Site Manager.
  • Prepare regular project status reports, including schedule and budget forecasts.
  • Identify project risks and opportunities and develop mitigation plans.
  • Review change requests and assess their impact on scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and site safety requirements.

The Project Manager is responsible for leading medium to large-scale projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to customer and contract requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all project activities from start to completion.
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, budget, and overall performance.
  • Serve as a key liaison between customers and internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve project issues and escalated conflicts in partnership with the Site Manager.
  • Prepare regular project status reports, including schedule and budget forecasts.
  • Identify project risks and opportunities and develop mitigation plans as needed.
  • Review change requests and assess their impact on project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and site safety requirements.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 3+ years of project management experience required, preferably in the material handling or warehouse automation industry.
  • Project Management certification or equivalent certification.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel to project sites up to 50%, based on business needs.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, overnight, and weekends, as required,
