Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Site Procurement Manager to act as the bridge between centralized Procurement and building leadership in Baton Rouge. You will own the site’s indirect procurement operations including vendor management, PO management, and inventory oversight, driving efficiencies at the site level.

You will lead supplier performance measurement, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage budgets and blanket POs while ensuring compliance with contracts and SLAs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Excel or Tableau experience for data manipulation and charts.
• 3+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience.
• Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Experience with supplier or vendor relationship management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement operations support for fulfillment centers, including managing suppliers and procurement transactions.
• Ensure compliance with KPIs and measure procurement processes.
• Develop expertise in non-inventory items and share best practices across buildings.
• Build relationships across the network and train teams on procurement processes.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements across categories.
