Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy in Denver, CO or Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Site Buyer to support procurement of non-major equipment components and site services. You will assist with supplier qualification, bids, pricing, purchase orders, and data entry in the purchasing system.

Travel may be required to support project needs. Ideal candidates have a 2-year degree in business or management and 1–2 years of purchasing experience in construction or engineering, with Viewpoint software experience

Qualifications

• Requires a 2-year Degree in Business or Management; 4-year BS preferred.
• 1-2 years Purchasing/Buyer experience in Construction/Engineering preferred.
• Preference for Solar/Renewable Energy or Power Generation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supplier qualification, evaluation, and re-evaluation.
• Assist with vendor setup process.
• Assist with negotiations.
• Support procurement team with finding new suppliers for materials and services.
• Conduct bids and solicit pricing for materials and services.
• Analyze and level quotes received and make recommendations for award.
• Prepare and process purchase orders.
• Input/maintain data in purchasing system.
• Research and resolve AP/AR discrepancies.
• Support procurement reporting, metrics, and vendor scorecards.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers to track trends and delivery.
• Coordinate with Expeditor on schedule and delivery.
• Maintain procurement documents for project teams.
