Job summary

Alstom in West Mifflin is seeking a Site Process & Manufacturing Engineering Director to lead scalable process improvements, optimize manufacturing efficiency, and drive operational excellence across the site.

You will partner with engineering, production, and quality teams, champion new technologies, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and mentor high-performing teams to deliver on strategic manufacturing goals and robust systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Extensive manufacturing engineering experience (8–10 years) including leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, BOMs, routings, and configuration follow-up.
  • Working knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems.

Responsibilities

Your Role, Your Impact

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.

Extensive manufacturing engineering experience (ideally minimum 8-10 years), including proven leadership responsibilities.

Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up.

Working knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems.

  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, process optimization, and industrial automation.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, regulatory standards, and operational excellence.
  • Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to inspire high-performing teams.
