Job summary

Alstom in Pittsburgh is seeking a Safety and Reliability Engineer to drive the design and development of robust rail solutions. You will work with dedicated teams to deliver safe, reliable mobility systems and contribute to the company’s mission on urban transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems).
• 3–5 years in safety, reliability, or quality engineering within transportation or industrial sectors.
• Proficiency in safety analysis tools (FTA, FMEA), reliability modeling, and EN50126/EN50128/EN50129 standards.
• Strong understanding of risk management, system integration, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; ability to lead small teams and drive results.

What You Bring

• Proficiency in safety analysis tools (FTA, FMEA), reliability modeling, and industry standards (EN50126, EN50128, EN50129).
• Strong understanding of risk management, system integration, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; ability to lead small teams and drive results.
