Job summary

Elanco in Clinton, IA, is seeking a Site Planner to align long-term demand with site capacity and resources. You’ll lead the internal R&OP process, track production output, and serve as the liaison between Central Supply Chain and site operations to ensure seamless product delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent supply chain experience and proven planning experience. SAP/IBP proficiency is essential; APICS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent supply chain experience required.
• Demonstrated planning-related experience driving initiatives toward site/company goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop mid-to-long-term production plans using SAP/IBP to align site capacity and customer service.
• Lead internal R&OP and represent Supply Chain on cross-functional product launch teams.
• Manage inventory levels and collaborate with Procurement to ensure a steady supply of materials.
• Triage site supply issues and provide crisis management for planning and production challenges.
• Influence production output with Site Schedulers and Customer Service through scenario analysis.
