Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Engineer to serve as the Site Operations and Technical Services IPTL for the UAE THAAD program. The role coordinates on-site maintenance, engineering support, and reach back activities to sustain fielded systems while balancing cost and schedule.

Location flexibility includes Woburn, MA; Huntsville, AL; or El Paso, TX with an on-site work model. The candidate will work with senior IPT leadership, program management, and engineering teams to ensure sustainment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• 8+ years of relevant experience required unless prohibited by law.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site operations and technical services across all functional groups.
• Ensure cost and schedule adherence for maintenance plans and on-site support.
• Engage with customer, program office, and leadership to align on priorities.
• Lead risk mitigation, opportunities and data-driven performance reviews.
• Support proposal efforts and contract modifications to enable success.
