Job summary

Brambles/CHEP is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead a 2‑shift, 15–20 person team at one of our customer locations. You will supervise forklift operations, drive safety culture, and coordinate maintenance while delivering efficiency and cost control.

You will partner with HR and the Plant Manager to meet performance targets, ensure compliance, and develop staff through coaching and training in a fast‑paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution or logistics.
• Forklift operations experience required.
• 1–3 years of proven work stability.
• Familiarity with OSHA/DOT preferred.
• Results-driven with ability to meet deadlines.
• P&L and budgeting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on leadership, mentoring, coaching and guiding employees.
• Drive safety performance on shift and promote proactive safety culture.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with maintenance team to minimize downtime.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, quality and cost‑effectiveness.
• Manage costs and yield with Plant Manager to meet objectives.
• Address performance and attendance with HR to ensure operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with CHEP procedures and instructions.
