ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning of Jackson is seeking a driven Assistant Manager to join our full-time team in Richland, Mississippi. You will oversee daily operations, inspire a team, and help deliver top-quality cleaning services to our commercial clients.

This leadership role requires hands-on supervision, strong communication, and a commitment to safety and OSHA standards, with opportunities to grow within the ServiceMaster brand.

Qualifications

• Must have management or supervisory experience.
• Experience in commercial cleaning/janitorial services preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality results.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings if needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team and interact with clients.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and work alongside cleaning crew during scheduled shifts at client sites.
• Manage or perform hands-on cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, restroom sanitation, trash removal, floor scrubbing and forklift operations.
• Ensure quality control standards are met by inspecting completed work.
• Train and guide team members on proper cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and safety protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding any site-specific needs, concerns, or special requests.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory, reporting shortages or maintenance needs as needed.
• Ensure team compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and operational requirements.
