Job summary

TEC Specialty is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the Gainesville manufacturing facility, overseeing production, warehouse, shipping/receiving and maintenance. You will provide day-to-day leadership, drive safety, quality and continuous improvement, and serve as onsite leader when the Plant Manager is unavailable.

The role requires hands-on supervision of hourly staff and cross-functional collaboration to meet metrics.

Qualifications

8+ years in manufacturing, warehouse, or operations.
3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Experience leading hourly employees in manufacturing.
Strong understanding of production, warehouse, and maintenance operations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP or ERP experience.
Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day leadership for production, warehouse and maintenance operations.
Ensure all operations are safe and compliant with policies and regulatory requirements.
Serve as senior onsite operational leader when Plant Manager is unavailable.
Coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, service and productivity goals.
Monitor performance and drive improvements in efficiency, reliability and throughput.
Lead, coach and develop employees with a culture of accountability and teamwork.
Communicate priorities and performance expectations to the team.
Support training, coaching, recognition and corrective actions.
