RTX is seeking an Associate Director, Operations Site Leader for the Marston (Wolverhampton) site. This role leads a ~550‑person manufacturing organisation, setting strategy and operating plans to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth targets.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Program teams, and guide transformation programs to deliver sustainable performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading a large, complex manufacturing/operations organisation.
• Proven track record delivering safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and productivity results.
• Experience developing and executing manufacturing/operational strategies.
• Experience leading significant transformation, continuous improvement, and growth initiatives.
• Ability to link operational performance to financial outcomes.
• Ability to lead across functions and organisational levels.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels.
• Experience in aerospace, defence or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading large direct-labor workforces.
• Familiarity with lean, CORE, or similar operating-system principles.
• Experience expanding capacity, ramping production, or driving growth.
• Experience managing complex value streams with diverse requirements.
• Proven leadership development and succession capabilities.
• Experience operating within a matrixed, global organisation.

Responsabilités

• Provide overall leadership and operational direction for the Marston site, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement.
• Establish and execute site operating strategy, rhythm and policies to meet requirements.
• Oversee production operations, including shop floor execution, planning, scheduling, and disruption management.
• Drive cost reduction, productivity, process optimisation, and disciplined problem solving.
• Lead transformation agendas to improve throughput, capacity, cost per hour, and efficiency.
• Ensure on-time delivery through effective scheduling and materials strategy.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Finance and Programs to strengthen performance and resolve issues.
• Build, develop and retain a high-performing operations organisation with an inclusive culture.
• Develop long-term site strategies for capacity, workforce, capital, and technology to enable growth.
• Represent site operations in strategic reviews and leadership forums.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%; compliance with security, export control, and NDA requirements.
