Job summary

Bunge facility in Missouri is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support operational activities and help the team stay prepared to meet schedules. This role partners with the Operations Manager to manage inventory, costs, maintenance, energy use and asset security.

You will lead onsite staff and contractors, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in a dynamic plant environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working in an elevator and/or terminal.
• Farming background a plus.
• Ability to interact well with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory control within company requirements.
• Support Operations Manager in cost control and facility improvements.
• Assist in maximizing mix & blend opportunities by using in-house stocks and space allocation.
• Schedule preventative maintenance while ensuring OSHA grain handling compliance.
• Lead onsite workers including contractors, temps, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, environmental, and company programs.
