Job summary

Bunge is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager in Baltimore, MD to support the Operations Manager in coordinating inventory control, cost management, logistics, grain conditioning, space allocation, and maintenance to keep the facility prepared to meet schedules.

You will help lead onsite workers, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, drive energy conservation, and support talent development to maintain uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with others in a team setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in elevator or terminal operations preferred.
• Farming background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist inventory control within company requirements.
• Help ensure the superintendent is maintaining at or below the cost control plan.
• Assist Operations Manager in development and execution of facility improvements.
• Aid in maximizing mix & blend opportunities using in-house stocks and available grain.
• Assist in scheduling preventative maintenance with safety compliance.
• Help complete talent development for operational staff.
• Assist in energy conservation and asset security.
• Lead onsite workers including contractors and temps.
