Job summary

Republic Services in Roosevelt, WA is seeking an Operations Laborer to perform general labor duties safely and efficiently at hauling facilities, transfer stations, recycling centers or landfills. You will clean up work areas, fuel vehicles, operate site equipment, perform yard work and basic office maintenance while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of landscaping and skilled using landscaping equipment.
• Skilled using hand and shop tools, and instruments.
• Demonstrates, accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
• Must be able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean up work areas.
• Fuel vehicles and equipment.
• Clean track on track type and related equipment.
• Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pickup.
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment, etc.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work.
• Install temporary wind fences, as required.
• Direct traffic at the site as necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
