Job summary

Junior Achievement of Georgia seeks a Manager of Site Operations to lead daily operations and on-site logistics for JA BizTown and JA Finance Park at the Discovery Center of Gwinnett. The 50,000 sq ft facility serves 40+ local middle school students daily and partners with 200+ corporate supporters to enrich learning experiences.

You will oversee facility readiness, manage simulation resources, assist with budgeting, ensure safety, and guide volunteers and schools to deliver a best-in-class

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in event planning or operations.
• Familiarity working in a fast-paced environment with students
• Candidates of all degrees and academic certification levels will be considered
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Exhibited program and project management skills.
• Works well in a team environment
• Ability to build and sustain relationships
• Demonstrated collaboration and strong communication skills
• Experienced with data collecting and analyzing trends to improve performance
• Strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure the facility is in a constant state of operational readiness through preventative maintenance and timely repairs.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot common issues with simulation software, storefront technology, and additional facility resources.
• Assist in inventory tracking for all simulation resources and office supplies; anticipate and restock as needed.
• Accurately track and monitor expenditures related to facility operations according to budget.
• Maintain safety and security of space, especially when students are on site.
• Coordinate daily logistics for program experiences with JA team members and schools to ensure a best-in-class learning experience.
