Job summary

Machine Solutions, Inc. in Flagstaff, AZ seeks an Operations Director & Site Leader to drive manufacturing excellence on-site.

You will oversee the Machine Shop, Assembly, Procurement, Shipping & Receiving, Planning, and Inventory while partnering with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR to achieve critical business goals. The role reports to the COO and focuses on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement across SQDCP metrics, with a strong emphasis on leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, RCCA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety with working knowledge of OSHA and EHS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safety-first culture; lead OSHA/EHS compliance for the site.
• Lead all manufacturing, warehouse, and operational activities for the Flagstaff site.
• Drive SQDCP metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People) and site financial performance.
• Develop and mentor leaders and partner with HR on hiring, performance, and succession.
• Lead quarterly Kaizen events focused on cost reduction and efficiency.
