Bargaining Unit: Yes The Workforce Education Center is an arm of the Division of Adult & Continuing Education at LaGuardia Community College that works with youth ages 14-24 who need improvement in academic skills, an internship, a high school equivalency diploma, community service experience, entry into the job market or interested in entering college. The Site Monitor positions are responsible for the monitoring of approved worksites where Summer Youth Employment and Work Learn & Grow students are completing assigned internships.
The worksites are in four of the five boroughs of New York City. Twenty-five positions will be available from June 22, 2026 through August 3 1, 2026.
The Worksite Monitors report directly to the SYEP Program Director.
Pay Range: Minimum - Maximum: $40,040.00

These functions include legal assessment and signing of agreements where RFCUNY is named as a fiscal agent; setting up award accounts; preparing sub-awards and assisting PIs in monitoring the work of the recipients of sub-awards; supporting project directors with hiring and managing research project and sponsored program staff; supporting the purchasing and paying for goods and services with grant and program funds; managing financial aspects of projects including accounts receivable, financial reporting, invoicing, budget monitoring, and cost compliance with uniform guidance; ensuring that sponsor financial requirements are met; monitoring compliance with applicable project and financial management rules and laws; supporting the management of independent and external audits and financial reviews; and providing data, information, management expertise, and other supports to CUNY’s research and sponsored programs.
