About the Role

Site Merchandise Coordinator role is critical to the day-to-day operations of Gap Online. The role is part of a dynamic and high-performing team that blends the art and science of site merchandising. It is responsible for the overall site experience, ensuring alignment with product-to-site strategy, promotional messaging, pricing, homepage, and emails. Collaborating with the Site Merchandising, Merchandising, Marketing, Ecom Operations, Promotions, Sample, and Photo Studio teams, you will work to produce a best-in-class online shopping experience. The Merchant Coordinator will become an expert in utilizing product-to-site pipeline and management tools, handling a substantial volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  1. Responsible for website QA and setup, including product and category linking, marketing flags, promotional codes, and ensuring promotional messaging is accurate and customer-focused.
  2. Assist with site management to create compelling product experiences with intuitive navigation.
  3. Participate in aligning site navigation, product photography, marketing, and copy strategies.
  4. Support weekly site review meetings to discuss marketing plans, site expectations, and current needs.
  5. Coordinate with Merchandising, Marketing, Ecom Ops, and other teams to update and troubleshoot products related to promotional events.
  6. Troubleshoot issues and influence resolutions across functions, producing accurate and detail-oriented work.
  7. Ensure high-quality work and accuracy across the site to enhance customer experience.
  8. Manage quarterly photography requests, ensuring adherence to standards during the season.
  9. Support competitive market analysis based on key product initiatives.
  10. Assist with product setup using third-party tools and test initiatives like search, recommendations, and outfitting modules.
  11. Open tickets and collaborate with Web Support teams to resolve issues.
