After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles is looking for a Site Mentor to oversee operational compliance and program quality at various school sites. This role ensures the implementation of mission-driven programming that inspires K-12 students during after-school hours.
Key responsibilities include managing site budgets, promoting staff excellence, and maintaining open communication with school administration. Qualifications include at least one year of leadership experience in similar settings, CPR and First Aid certifications, and a willingness to work flexible hours. Fluency in another language is a plus.
Founded by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2002, After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles (ASAS-LA) is a leading after-school program provider whose programs educate, enlighten and inspire thousands of K-12 students each day. Activities are centered around health, fitness and nutrition; the visual and performing arts; and youth leadership and community service learning.
In partnership with the City of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Unified School District, Montebello School District, and charter school organizations, ASAS-LA brings innovative, cutting‑edge enrichment programs that contribute to reducing drug use, crime and violence while increasing the safety of students during after school hours. Kobe Bryant is an ASAS‑LA Program Ambassador. ASAS‑LA is part of the national After‑School All‑Stars, which provides after school programs in 12 cities, serving over 81,000 students.
BASIC ASSIGNMENT:
The Site Mentor will be responsible for both the operational compliance and program quality of ASAS‑LA sites. These sites will be part of a larger region of programs. The Site Mentor will report directly to his/her Program Director ensuring the implementation of mission‑based programming that educates, enlightens and inspires students in grades K‑12.
