Job summary

CEC Companies is seeking a Material Handler in Cheyenne, WY to move tools and materials for construction projects. You will help with deliveries, inventory, and keeping the warehouse organized while following safety rules. This is a hands‑on role requiring good planning and problem‑solving.

The position is full time with potential overtime and night shifts. A valid driver’s license and forklift/DOT certifications (or willingness to obtain) are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Construction experience is a plus but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Forklift and DOT certifications (or willingness to certify).

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up materials as needed.
• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Keep track of inventory and help with regular counts.
• Organize and clean tools, materials, and the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles when required.
• Maintain paperwork like logs and transfer forms.
• Help keep shop vehicles in good condition.
• Support building and fleet maintenance when needed.
• Follow safety rules and keep workspace clean and organized.
• Perform other related duties to ensure efficient processes and project flow.
